What is Design-Build?
The Design-Build concept is a unique and all-inclusive process in which our own skilled professionals perform the necessary labor, ensuring our clients that the job is done on time, within budget and meet the quality standards of Kitchen Classics LLC. We can work with you and an architect to design and build a bump-out, addition, replace windows and doors or move walls in order to create the floorplan of your dreams for your Kitchen, Bathroom or Other Living Spaces.
Our talented designers will meet with you either in your home, office or at our showroom. We prefer the first appoinment be in your home. This gives us the opportunity to see how you live, take measurements and before photos, and discuss your style preferences. Then we will research your project and determine what is required for its successful completion.
Is there a Design fee?
After the initial consultation, your designer creates a rough draft of your project floorplan along with an estimate. We do not charge for the consultation or estimate. Once the budget is established, we require a non-refundable 10% Design Fee. The Design Fee is then applied to the contract; it is not an additional charge.
Do I have to use your trades’ personnel?
No, but we will strongly urge you to utilize our professionals. When we control scheduling of the appropriate tradesman, we can assure you of finishing the job not only in a timely manner but within the budget, and we can meet all of our quality standards plus there are no surprises. If you do not use our tradesman, we can not be held responsible for any scheduling issues or problems that may arise.
What services do you offer?
Our designers will work with you to choose cabinets, countertops, tile for backsplash/floor, hardware, fittings/fixtures, lighting and appliances. We do not give you a list of vendors and then leave it up to you. In the past, it has proven mutually beneficial to everyone when we work together choosing the above producst. This ensures that not only will your project finish on time and fit properly but it is everything you envisioned.
How long will our project take to complete?
Every situation is unique and depends on the scope of the work involved along with the cabinet manufacture chosen. There is no such thing as an average kitchen or bathroom. |
